The OPUS-QUAD offers standalone playback of 4 decks for versatile DJ performances. This means you can play 4 tracks on 4 different decks simultaneously, preview tracks, and even leave a deck free to instantly incorporate audience requests into your set—all with a single device. You can also assign each deck a different color, which is complemented by the jog wheel illumination, so you always know which one is currently active.

Support for multiple media sources and different playback modes

How do you prefer to DJ? From USB sticks or large SSD drives? From a PC/Mac with DJ software or wirelessly via Wi-FiⓇ—from your smartphone (available from April 2023) or via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay? With just one OPUS-QUAD, you can access various music collections and even pair a mobile device via BluetoothⓇ/MD wireless technology—perfect for quickly incorporating an audience request into your set.

Fast and precise title search – even in the largest collections

Find your tracks faster and more accurately than ever before thanks to the newly designed user interface with electrostatic touch module. No matter the size of your music collection, you can use the 10.1″ (25.6 cm) touchscreen to quickly search for tracks using the keypad or use the playlist bank to quickly navigate between playlists. With touch preview, you can even preview tracks while browsing. The new intelligent Smart Rotary Selector offers joystick-like operation with left/right, up/down, turn, and push controls. The other browsing controls are neatly arranged around this rotary-push control, so you can browse, preview, and load your music collection without moving your whole hand.

Optimized deck configuration and new Smart Cue

Take full control of the music thanks to the sophisticated deck layout, which features a display above each full-size jog wheel. This arrangement means you don’t have to change your view when manipulating tracks or checking things like track information, parameters, and function status. And with the new Smart Cue feature, you can automatically overwrite the current cue position with recalled hot cues. This makes using hot cues with just one gesture much faster and more intuitive than ever before.

*To use the Smart Cue function, „Overwrite current cue with hot cue“ must be enabled in the utility setting beforehand.

High-quality, pleasant sound for a better listening experience

The OPUS-QUAD was specifically designed to meet the needs of the increasingly diverse DJ scene and delivers high-quality sound that can be comfortably listened to for extended periods in any environment. The system’s configuration eliminates transmission and AD-DA conversion losses. It is equipped with a high-quality 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology. No matter where you play with the OPUS-QUAD, the entire venue will be enveloped in pleasant sound, further enhancing the spatial experience.

User-friendly professional effects

The OPUS-QUAD’s new effects make it easy to add texture and excitement to your music, allowing you to get the crowd pumped and add your own personal touch with Beat FX. The XY pad makes it easy to control functions like FX Bank and channel selection, as the Beat FX parameters and filter cutoff frequency are controlled by movements on the X and Y axes respectively. This lets you combine both effects with just one finger. The popular Smooth Echo feature lets you easily trigger an echo by moving a previously assigned fader or knob to apply the effect when it’s active. Each channel also features Sound Color FX, giving you even more options for creating different sounds to wow your audience.

Zone output for playing different music in different rooms

Thanks to the zone output, which can output a signal independent of the master, you can play different music in different rooms – all with just one OPUS-QUAD. For example, you can connect a smartphone to the system via Bluetooth and set up a playlist of background music that plays quietly in a bar or a second room where people are chatting while you mix tracks from a USB device for the main area.

Compatible with rekordbox and Serato

The OPUS Quad comes with plug-and-play compatibility for rekordbox Performance Mode and Serato DJ Pro (coming summer 2023). Simply connect your PC/Mac running either application to get started—no license or subscription required. If you use rekordbox, you can also connect to the rekordbox mobile app for iOS/Android
